7 March 09: Warm weather walking
Temp made it into the 60’s (at least) today…so I headed out to Long’s Park for some laps around the pond. Did five laps with 1.536 mile pedometer reading. This per-lap distance doesn’t compare with a November posting where I did three laps at .606 miles. Now I’ll have to determine if it’s 0.2 or 0.3 miles around the pond.
Also, about two weeks ago there was a 50+ degree day that I ventured to Millersville’s community park where I did 0.963 miles. This park is a lot like Manor Twp in that there are hilly parts. But unlike Manor, it’s not near a major intersection so it’s a lot less noisy.
