Continuing with my goal to (in pieces!) walk the entire length of the Conewago Recreation/Lebanon Valley Rail Trail…

Started at 0.0 in Lancaster County, outside of Elizabethtown, stopped just after mile 2.0 at the crossing with Old Hershey Rd., and returned.  Pedometer reading of 4815.  Small parking lot at Old Hershey Rd., so perhaps a good starting point for the next time.

I parked at the Lawn Park, which is located right at mile 2.  I intented to walk to mile 4, but after a long period of time I felt that I must be past that, and eventually came to the marker for mile 5.  On the way back I didn’t see mile 4’s marker either, so it must be missing.  This walk ended up being six miles instead of four.  The pedometer recorded 7,118 steps for just the slightest bit over six miles.
